$ Get started in seconds
curl -fsSL https://agentbabysitter.com/install.sh | bash

Installs abs and asks nothing — the always-on daemon and sandboxes come with it. Then run abs to start. Already have it? abs offers you the update itself. Want an older version? Every release stays installable.

Linux + macOS Works over SSH No server required

A few of the good parts

Know When It's Done

Get a summary when Claude finishes a task, so you always know what happened.

Reply to Steer It

Reply from your phone and it goes straight back into the same live session.

It Goes Quiet When You Sit Down

Auto-silent mutes the pings while you're at the terminal, and resumes the moment you step away.

Just shipped, and what's next

The three things that were "coming next" all landed in 3.3.0. abs no longer needs Claude Code to be open — it listens around the clock, and you can start a session from your phone.

Since then, up to 3.6.0: a curl install became a full install with no git clone, voice arrived by default with six voices you pick by ear, reply mode became a setting the session enforces rather than something the model has to remember, and the status bar now reads the same on macOS as it does on Linux.

Always on, even when nothing's running

A background daemon keeps your bot awake around the clock. Message it at 2am with no terminal open and it's still there — nothing gets dropped while you're away.

Shipped

Start a session from your phone

Pick a project, tap resume, and Claude Code starts on your machine — from Telegram. Messages you sent while it was idle are offered back as the opening prompt.

Shipped

Sandboxed sessions

Run Claude Code inside a container with exactly one folder mounted and nothing else on your machine visible. For the work you'd rather not hand the keys to.

Being built next
In progress

A restricted assistant bot

A locked-down second bot for everyday questions and notes. It can't write code, can't touch your projects, and can't start sessions — safe to hand to anyone. The code is written and tested; it ships once it has been provisioned end to end by a human.

Planned

A bot per project, chosen at launch

Run abs across several projects and their conversations currently mix unless you remember the profile flag. Instead: pick a bot the first time you start in a folder, and it remembers.

Planned

Your own persona, and room to extend it

How abs writes to you is currently baked into the tool. Move it into a file you can edit, and document where a new feature belongs — so the reporting style, and the tool itself, is yours to shape.
